Internal Auditor

The Internal Auditor is responsible for the development of a systematic approach in evaluating and improving the organization’s management, control, and governance processes.

The role is expected to conduct program performance, financial, and compliance audit projects, provide consulting services to the organization’s management and employees, and input to development of the Annual Strategic Plan; and train/coach key employees to help improve the organizational performance.

  • Identifies and evaluates the organization’s risk areas
  • Provides key input to the development of the Annual Strategic Plan

  • Develops and administers surveys, composes summary memos, and prepares working papers

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration/Public Administration or related field
  • Certification as a CIA, CPA, or CISA
  • At least 4 years of full-time experience in auditing, accounting, business analysis, or program evaluation
  • Experience in industry and non-profit auditing and accounting
  • Two years of project management experience

Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator

Reporting to the Grants Manager, the Program Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator supports the program team in monitoring and evaluating the programs and projects to adequately respond to the donor reporting requirements, and designs strategies to facilitate organizational learning in the area of M&E.

  • Set up the Monitoring and Evaluation System in line with the KPIs based on approved grants
  • Provide technical assistance and capacity building support to managers and leads on the operationalization of the M&E System
  • Work closely with the program team to support in the program monitoring and evaluation. This is through field/department monitoring visits to ensure data quality and compliance on reporting
  • Document the M&E best practices based on program experience
  • Develop a strategy for identifying, analyzing, and disseminating the lessons learned within the program team
  • Support the program team in ogranizing and facilitating program planning and learning meetings
  • In coordination with the Grants Manager, prepare and submit project reoprts in compliance with the donor requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science (or related experience)

  • Knowledge and experience in budget monitoring and financial reporting
