The students from Virlanie’s Magellan Learning Center (MLC) visited an animation studio last 13 September 2013 as a reward for their satisfactory performance and positive behavior in class this semester.
Magellan Learning Center is Virlanie’s support program for the children living in the Virlanie Homes. The teachers in MLC provides tutorials and various services for the children which includes Computer lessons, Reading, English and Mathematics Classes to help the children overcome their academic difficulties and become confident in school.
The students have learned the process of animation in a fun-filled way. They participated in interactive activities and had hands-on experience in doing some parts of the animation: conceptualization, storyboarding characterization, actual drawing, coloring, fabrication of a zoetrope, and musical scoring. They also assisted in a digital human show.
A big up for our talented children!
