The house mothers of Virlanie Foundation joined hands with female representatives from Bosch, Inc. to launch “Kabuhayan para sa Kinabukasan ng Kababaihan” or KKK. This initiative is in line with Bosch’s global program, Women@Bosch, which encourages female employees to make relevant contributions to society.

In partnership with Virlanie Foundation, Bosch provided dynamic seminars relevant to the development of house mothers both as individuals and as mothers in weekly meetings, with topics ranging from smart parenting, time management, and even personal style last September 2014 to December 2014. These learning opportunities were given to the house mothers who guard and care for the welfare of the Virlanie kids 24/7.

Coming this March 2015, Bosch will then be conducting trainings to Virlanie’s community mothers on how to use Bosch power tools in order to develop alternative skills that will hopefully encourage better financing and entrepreneurship. According to the mothers residing in these Virlanie communities, they are looking forward to learning and investing their time together with the Bosch women.

“We at Bosch are very happy to reach out to the mothers of Virlanie Foundation, through whom we are able to live out our ideology of enhancing quality life. We aim to develop participants as individuals and cultivate the entrepreneurial mindset to kick start their livelihood and we hope that they will take what they learn towards work and for the advancement of their own lives”, said Clarissa Cruz, Human Resources Manager of Bosch Philippines.
