What We Do
Virlanie provides Manila street children with a home, a family.
Its 12 Homes care for more than 400 children every year. Children can be in a Virlanie Home for as little as a few months to many years depending on their needs.
Apart from food, shelter and clothing, Virlanie provides children with opportunities to study, finds ways to re-unite them with their families (if the children have any and if the families are capable of caring for the children), and gives children psychological support and counseling, and assistance with their legal cases.
The NGO, with the help of individuals, organizations and companies provides shelter, clothing and nutritious meals for all 400 mothers and babies, toddlers, children and young adults, as well as formal / informal schooling and educational support and psycho-social developmental activities.
