Virlanie Party

Spend time with the children of Virlanie Foundation couldn’t be easier.

A good way to volunteer at Virlanie Foundation and bring back the smile to the street children is to organize activities with our children.

Virlanie children love these events because they can meet new friends, they can learn while having fun, they can discover new places or simply celebrate with you. You can become a “kuya” or “ate” to our children and see how big their smiles can be!

Visitors wishing to organize an outreach event with Virlanie can get in touch with Ms Maren Pascual - visiting@virlanie.org (+632 895 3460)

Organize educational trips or outings

Virlanie Foundation encourages you to organize educational trips or outings with our children so they could learn while having fun. There are various types of outings. Among others, you can bring the children to the museum; go swimming; to a camping trip; to the Zoo; to the theater etc.

For you to have an idea on how enjoyable an outreach activity can be, we wanted to share the following experiences. In addition to this, there is also a forum where you can exchange news and views of other friends of Virlanie [click here].

Volunteers from Smart Telecom and Virlanie children go into the Zambales wilderness

Friends of Virlanie Foundation working for Smart Telecom joined with Virlanie Foundation staff from the Mobile Unit and from Sponsorship Team to bring 25 street children from Divisoria, Manila - a dense urban environment to climb a mountain in the Zambales, north of Manila. For most of the children, it was their first time outside of the city.

The trip was the first time for these street children from Manila's urban jungle to venture into a pristine wilderness, their first time to go hiking, their first time to sleep under tents!

The trip was organised by Julian Suares (Smart Telecom), Dana de Guzman (Virlanie Sponsorship Team) and Marie Michel (Virlanie Mobile Unit).

Christmas time

During the Christmas season, we hear phrases like: “it’s the season of giving” and “Christmas is for children” – these don’t ring more true than in Virlanie.

Companies, groups, families and individuals choose to celebrate by giving and spending time with the children. With an assortment of food and goodies, coupled with fun games and activities, the children’s December days are filled.

Some companies invited the children from the homes and the various programs (like the Mobile and ODC), to celebrate at their office, at restaurants and theme parks! These were truly special for the children.

The Foundation is truly thankful for the generosity of others and hopes that its friends and well-wishers remember the children throughout the year – during Easter, summer-time and other auspicious days so that Christmas will be all year-round.

Celebrate at a Virlanie Home

You can also organize a party in one of Virlanie Homes to celebrate your birthday or any other event with our children.
