How You Can Help
The smallest gesture helps.
A simple smile to the gap-toothed six year old selling her sampaguita outside your vehicle uplifts her spirit but street children need much more. Consistent support for street children causes is greatly needed and can be given in many ways.
Everyone can help and Virlanie needs all the help it can get.
1. To donate to the Foundation (for a Home or Program)
Virlanie provides more than 400 children (annually) with a home, food, clothing and education so welcomes donations in cash and in-kind. A donation (financial assistance) is the most practical and flexible way individuals, groups and companies can help the Foundation.
Donations will be utilized to provide children in the homes with their basic and essential needs along-side support programs that are designed to help the children develop holistically. Education, psychological, medical, reunification program are just a few of Virlanie’s support activities.

Our main needs are in foodstuff, like rice and milk but you can also inquire with a Virlanie Home or with the Fundraising department what the needs in-kind are. You can bring the donation either at the main office or at one of the Homes.

Companies can hire Virlanie young adults. Companies can choose to provide young adults the opportunity to learn and earn by welcoming them to undergo On-The-Job Training (OJT), internships and hire them for jobs. Young adults will gain skills, learn about the discipline of work from their employers and develop self-confidence
